  1.   National Internship Programme
  • National Internship Programme was launched in March,2007 for the benefit  of unemployed graduates which continued up to 30,june 2011.
  • The Programme was discontinued from 1st july,2011,by the Federal Governemnt
  • Details of the number of internees from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Selected by the Federal Government under various phases is as follow:-

  1.   GRIEVANCE/COMPLAINTS
  • Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Pakistan Established a Public Affairs and Grievances Wing and directed the Provincial Government to nominate a focal person to coordinate with public Affairs and Grievances Wing with regard to redressal of grievances / complaints.
  • In Pursuance of the above direction provincial Government nominated Additional Secretary IPC Department as Focal Person.
  • Details of Grievances / Complaints since 27.11.2013 till 1st  September,2014 are as under:-

PRESIDENT’S / PRIME MINISTER’S DIRECTIVES AND DEVELOPMENT SCHEMES UNDER PWP-II

  • IPC Department deals with President’s / Prime Minister’s Directives and Development Schemes under PWP-II identified by Parliamentarian? Notables.
  • PWP-II was initiated in April, 2008 and discontinued during 2013-14.
  • The Progress received from concerned Department on President’s / Prime Minister’s directives and development schemes under PWP-II is forwarded to Prime Minister’s Secretariat and Cabinet Division, Islamabad on monthly basis.

Council OF COMMON INTERESTS (CCI)

  • Constituted Under Article 153 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
  • Under article 154(1) of the Constitution, the Council shall formulate and regulate policies in relation to the matters in part-II of the federal Legislative List and shall exercise supervision and control over the related institutions. Federal Legislative List Part-II contains 18 items and includes important sector like Railways, Mineral Oil, & Natural Gas, WAPDA, Pakistan Industrial Corporation, all Regulatory Authorities and Census.

Meetings of the Council

  •  The Council shall meet at least once in ninety days and be attended by its members.
  • In a meeting of the Council four members shall from the quorum: provided that at least two Chief Ministers are present.
  • A matter relating to a Province shall not be discussed unless the Chief Minister of that Province shall be Present.
  • Notice for the Meeting shall ordinarily be issued at least 10 working days in advance.
  • So far fifteen meetings shall of CCI have been held after 18th Amendment in which 47 decisions taken out of which 37 implemented.

Committees of the Council

  • The Council may constitute its Standing Committee or Special Committee laying down their terms of reference and membership.

  • As per CCI Rules 2010 Standing Committee of CCI Constituted. Secretary IPC Division is Chairman of the Committee with the following members.
  • Secretary Law & Justice Division or his representative not below BS-21
  • Representative of Ministry/ Division concerned not below the rank of joint    Secretary  (BS-20)
  • Secretary of the provincial IPC Departments.
  • Joint Secretary(CCI)
  • So far five meetings have been held.
